Nigeria Commercial Banks Begins Closing Account Of Crypto Binance P2P Traders.

The Deposit Money Banks sent messages to the affected customers that reads:

Dear (name withheld),

Please refer to our email sent on February 20, 2021, informing customers that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had directed all banks to close accounts of persons and/or entities transacting in or operating crypto currency exchanges.

In line with this directive, please note that your account ****** will be closed with immediate effect.

Kindly visit the nearest FCMB branch to collect the funds in the account, if applicable.

Thank you.”

If you have huge money in your account, and you have ever done binance p2p, you may be in trouble as your account will be closed with immediate effect, if not closed already.
Naijamill.com authoritatively confirmed that the message was received from one of the deposit money banks, informing customers that their account have been closed because of they involved in cryptocurrency transactions.
This will be a huge blow to many Nigerian youth who engages in one crypto transactions or the other, if care is not taken many may cry 😢
This is really sad, no job in the country. Now little hustle the youths are doing is been used to prosecute them.
