This is the place to go if you want to find things to do in Lagos and Abuja. People know that Lagos and Abuja isn’t the best place to visit in the world. Aside from the people who live here and people from Nigeria in general, most people who come to this place come for business. It’s not that Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria, aren’t good places to visit, though. In this article, I’ll tell you about some of the best places to go in both cities.
Here are lists of the best place for entertainment in Lagos and Abuja.

Jara Beach Resort
Probably the best beach resort in Lagos at the moment is Jara Beach Resort, which is called “Jara Beach.” The hotel stands out because it offers an all-inclusive stay at a beachfront hotel. Mark and I spent three days at the resort this year, and we both had a great time. The resort is in Museyo, Lagos, and it’s very easy to get there by car.
The Yar’Adua Foundation
The Yar’Adua Foundation is next to the Sheraton Hotel and Towers on One Memorial Drive in the Central Business District. To get in touch: +234(0) 9524 0021 or +234(0) 9524 0022 To honor the late Nigerian President, General Shehu Musa Yar’adu. A lot of things are available at the Yar’adua Foundation. There are lots of libraries, a center with both conference facilities and a shop where you can buy gifts, organized programs like charity projects, Yar’adua Merit Scholars, and more. If you want to learn more, go to www.yaraduacentre.org.
La Campagne Tropicana
It’s another great beach resort to visit in Lagos. Getting there can be slow, especially if you’re coming from Lagos Mainland. It’s on the outside of Lagos, and it can be hard to get there. La Campagne Tropicana has a lot to offer, including a clean and beautiful beach and a lot of fun things to do. This is the only other place in Lagos that I think should be called a resort.
Wonderland Amusement Park
It is at 1 kukuwaba Road, next to the National Stadium. merry-go-rounds and rides are available at this wonderland. There is also a small roller coaster and a games arcade. There are also bumper cars and train tracks there. They have bouncy castles for younger kids, as well as a safe place for older kids to have a good time. There are also a lot of different types of food and drinks to choose from.
Abuja Amusement Park
This park is in Zone 1 of Wuse, which is south of the Central Business District. It is on Bumbuna Street. Monday through Sunday, from 8.00 am until 10.00 pm, it is open to the public. This park is great for kids because it has a merry-go-round, bump cars, galloping horses, a train octopus, rally cars, themed rides, and a restaurant.
It’s another beach that I think you should go to. While I didn’t enjoy being on the beach (don’t use my experience as a guide, many people love the beach in this area), I had a great time in the cabin and the areas around it. Also, the beach area behind the Jaybee Beach Camp is better than the one in front of it. Make sure to check it out. From Fiki Marina on Victoria Island, you can get to Tarkwa Bay by boat to go swimming.
Lagos has a lot of beautiful beaches that I haven’t been to yet, but I think you should check out these other places as well.
IBB International Golf Club
This great golf course is in the Maitama district of Abuja City. It is on Aso drive. Around 101 acres, it has a lot of lakes and ponds as well as a lot of bridges. People from all over the country and the world play golf on the 18-hole international-standard golf course, which is near major hotels in the city and the Golf Association across the country. People who join the International Golf and Country Club can only go there. Website: www.ibbgolfclub.org.ng
Silverbird Cinema and Jabi Lake Mall
At the Jabi Lake Mall, Bala Sokoto Way, Jabi, it’s near the mall. To get there: +234 (0)9094778020 or +234 (0)9094778020. Tickets cost between N500 and N1, 500. This is the newest and most up-to-date movie theater in Abuja. http://silverbirdcinemas.com/jabi/
Silverbird Entertainment Centre
