On the 19th of October, esus Ahoufe was arrested for his doom prophecy about the dancehall act. During an Accra FM interview on Tuesday, September 28, he stated that if the popular musician does not pray hard, he will be shot on October 18, 2021.
Meanwhile, Bishop Stephen Akwasi aka Jesus Ahoufe’s wife, Vivian Appiah, has told Citi TV that police forced her husband to search their home, where they discovered a gun.
“We were all here with my husband, so we were back and forth with the crime officer, and he said we should calm down and they would grant him bail tonight, so we were all hoping for bail tonight,” she said.
“So I was sitting in front of my car when one of my sons said Mummy, they’re taking Daddy away, and I said to where?” she continued. “So I took my phone and called him and told him they’re taking him home…so I stayed here with some church members.”
“I don’t know what they were looking for but when they went inside my house, all I know is that they searched everywhere and saw my husband’s registered gun,” Vivian Appiah said when asked what the police did at their house.
“They brought the gun here, saw that it was registered, and everything was in order, so they started preparing a docket for us to get a bail.” However, Jesus Ahoufe, like Shatta Wale, has been denied bail.
On October 25, 2021, he is scheduled to re-appear in court. In the video below, you can hear more from his wife.
